Proteomics based approach for identification of enzymes degrading the plant biomass
Romanová, Kristýna ; Ing.Ondřej Kosík, Ph.D. (referee) ; Flodrová, Dana (advisor)
The theoretical part of work is focused on the issue of biomass which can be used for energy purposes, inparticular agricultural waste, as well as can serve as a substrate for biogas station. It also deals with proteomics, its goals and approaches, separation methods. The aim of this work was to measure each sample of enzyme activity of biomass, which are used as a raw materials for biogas plants and their proteomic identification.
Utilization of biomass for the energy purposes
Romanová, Kristýna ; Ing.Ondřej Kosík, Ph.D. (referee) ; Flodrová, Dana (advisor)
The theoretical part of work focuses on the issue of biomass used for energy purposes, in particular agricultural waste, which can be used as a substrate for biogas station. Furthermore, examines the composition of polymer substrates, which affects most biogas process. The aim of this work was to measure each sample of enzyme activity of biomass, which is used as a raw material for biogas plants.
Forming of solid pollutants from biomass
Havlínová, Denisa ; Štelcl, Otakar (referee) ; Baláš, Marek (advisor)
This bachelor‘s thesis is divided into two main parts. The first part is research and deals mainly with biomass and pollutants. In this section, we will find a two-dimensional distribution of biomass, a comparison of fuel forms and a discussion of basic pollutants with a focus on solid pollutants. The second part is experimental. It starts with a fuel laboratory, where the water, ash and heat content of the biofuels examined is determined. The following is an investigation of the dependence of the PM formation on the properties of the biomass, which was measured by the measurement of these PM by the filters in the collecting device, while the examined biofuels were gradually burned on the fireplace insert.
Press design for paper briquettes
Kočař, Jiří ; Rebenda, David (referee) ; Dvořáček, Jiří (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with an engineering design of a press briquette machine, which process refuse of paper. This refuse is used for production of paper 's, eventually paper-sawdust 's briquets. The first part contains analysis of options of processing garbage, current machines producting briquets and their versatility. The second section is focused on a final design of a pressing machine and a general description of it's parts.
Energy use of biomass
Budiš, Marek ; Štelcl, Otakar (referee) ; Baláš, Marek (advisor)
This final work, written in the bachelor degree on the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Brno University of Technology, is engaged in literary research on the use of biomass energy. The first part deals with biomass, its origin and cultivation. The second part focuses on biomass suitable for energy purposes. Is described in detail adjustment of biomass for energy purposes, and various technologies conversion of biomass to generate energy.
Automatic boiler for biomass pellets
Sklenář, Vít ; Štelcl, Otakar (referee) ; Pospíšil, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of this diploma thesis is the research of automatic boilers for biomass pellets and their burners, design of automatic boiler for biomass pellets which include calculation part and drawing part and technical-economics assessment for building in the end. Thesis is divided into four main parts. The first part deals with general information about pellets, automatic boilers for pellets, burners and the standard for boiler. In the second part the pellet boiler is calculated. In the third part the automatic pellet boiler is designed. The fourth section compares three possible variants. Comparison is done for economics and the user.
Solid fuels boilers
Šmejkal, Petr ; Štelcl, Otakar (referee) ; Baláš, Marek (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with burning solid fuels in boilers used for house heating. In the first chapter, the individual kinds of solid fuels are described in light of their composition, properties, means of their energetical application and ways of adjusting them to a form proper for combustion. In the second chapter, the individual types of solid fuels boilers are described. The last chapter deals with comparision of several specific boilers in light of their purchase price and operating expenses.
Biomass boilers
Bednář, František ; Štelcl, Otakar (referee) ; Baláš, Marek (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with biomass boilers for heating family house. The thesis is divided into several parts. In the first part are characterized solid fuels, the individual kinds of solid fuels, properties, modifications and processing are described to finishing suitable form for burning. The second part describes individual biomass boilers for house heating. The last part of this thesis compares the selected biomass boilers from an economic perspective.
Equipment for the production of paper pellets
HEJHAL, Lukáš
The introduction and the theoretical part define basic concepts related to briquettes, pellets, crushing, shredding and pressing. Subsequent chapters describe crushing and pressing system in general. The practical part describes the design of crushing and pressing machines. In the experimental part, the methodology of the experiment and the obtained results are presented.
